Oh, the merry month of May!
May is upon us, and for this month's Spark circle we will celebrate Beltane with a Maypole Dance, in the context of Fire Circle!
Come one, come all! Bring long ribbons for the Maypole, flowers and ribbons for garlands, face paint, and other celebratory items.
We will invoke Community together!
5:30 - Arrive to help set up the Maypole and the Spark circle and altars
6:30 - Newcomers invited for an orientation to Spark
6:45 - Quiet time
7:00 - Ritual begins with the Maypole dance and then will segue into a more traditional Spark circle
This will be a fun ritual for adults and kids alike.
Here is the chant we will sing as we circle and weave our ribbons around the Maypole:
We are circling, circling together
We are singing, singing our heartsong
This is family
This is unity
This is celebration
This is sacred
