Details from this month's MC, Debbie:

Hi Sparklers,

I am still glowing from circling in the dark, in the park. But it is time to begin to prepare for next month's circle. I am inspired this time by Theodore Geisel, aka Dr. Seuss.

Dr. Seuss wrote a very inspiring book called "Oh the Places You'll Go" -- an inspiring story for children of all ages, even 54! In the middle of the book is a special place we all go...

"The Waiting Place... for people just waiting.
Waiting for a train to go
or a bus to come, or a plane to go
or the mail to come, or the rain to go
or the phone to ring, or the snow to snow" (and more)

I recently found myself in just such a place. Waiting. then, eureka! I realized that I had time to think, and I thought and I thought and I found a theme for Spark!

August is a month of not too much. We are waiting for school to start or vacation to come or visitors to go or solstice to come or the fog to go. or the harvest. In this waiting, there is an opportunity to think, to listen, to discover what is ripening inside us.

Please join me this month in exploring the waiting place, that time we try to avoid. Let's delve in and find what surprises await us there.

Also, we need altar builders and/or direction callers, smudgers, a door person, and welcomers. For the full text of the book see the link below!
